Wildcat

What I Wore:

My days are starting to blend together into one giant blur. I think I took this on Saturday?

Top – H&M

Skirt – Forever 21

I think I was going for amazon jungle secretary that day. Bitches don’t mess with that shit.

Shoes – Vintage

Flo was cleaning while I was getting ready for work and found these lovelies in the back of her closet. With they help of my trusty shoe inserts they fit like a charm! They even click and clack like crazy. I’m so in love. P.S Instagram makes my legs look phenomenal.

What I ate:

I’ve literally been surviving off of this and mall food all weekend. Like, I probably shouldn’t be this skinny. As soon as I get home I grab this, a spoon, and have a solo cuddle sesh with this and Netflix while dreading the rest of the week’s shifts.

For lack of food pictures lately, here have some more semi-personal tidbits!

– I got an internship because I’m fucking awesome! I’m a PR intern at Modern Pop Culture in Armory Square. I’m pretty excited about getting shit done and having a great time.

– I got paid yesterday…which means I can afford new shit soon so be on the look out! Well, unless I fucked up my paycheck. Apparently my bank is closed on Saturdays so I went to the giant fancy machine at my bank and I let it eat my check because it said I could do that. I really really really hope I didn’t just loose a couple hundo. I’d literally cry my eyes out. I want to buy brand new pretty things so bad!!!

And uh, I have nothing else to say. So here, have a selfie that I obnoxiously took at Barnes and Noble. I bought a copy of The Great Gatsby in case anyone was curious.

Litas and Cherry Dips

What I Wore:

It was a JC Lita kinda day. Everyday should be a JC Lita day.

Romper – Urban Outfitters

Next to dresses, rompers are one of my favorite things to wear in the summer. It’s all the fun of a dress minus the potential chance of your underwear being exposed to the world. I think this was my very first purchase at Urban Outfitters too.

Vest – Forever 21

I need more summer vests. Summer vests are kind of useless if you think about it but they’re totes adorbs with the right outfit.

Shoes – Jeffrey Campbell Litas, karmaloop.com

I’ve been in lust with Litas for well over a year. They’re crazy fierce and surprisingly comfortable. These were a Valentine’s Day present from an ex. I bought him a pair of super sweet Onitsuka Tigers and I guess he returned the favor with these pretties. Ugh, I need another pair of Jeffrey Campbells asap. Officially addicted.

What I ate/drank:

I met up with some friends at Sweet Treats. While waiting in line, my one friend kept ranting and raving about syrup dip. As an ice cream lover I figured I’d give it a shot. I got a chocolate vanilla twist with a cherry dip. And it was ah-may-zinggg! A little messy but super yummy nonetheless. I need to do dips more often.

Afterwards, we headed next door over to Heid’s for soda. Even though I didn’t indulge in one of their totes delish hot dogs, I did gulp down a birch beer. For those of you who don’t know what birch beer it’s basically root beer on crack made by Amish people. It tastes exactly like those little root beer barrel candies. I wish I could drink it all year round.

You Only Live Once

What I Wore:

Monday afternoon adventures because I still haven’t found anything better to do with my summer yet.

Dress – Urban Outfitters

I got this simple white dress with lace on sale! It’s a great summer dress minus the fact that it’s incredibly see-through. I had to wear a pair of black shorts underneath to keep something left to the imagination. But I did remember to wear a bra with a cute print just in case.

Headband – Delia’s

I went through a phase all throughout high school where I was obsessed with headbands. More specifically, ones with bows. I’ve retired that trend and have moved on to other phases that I may question later on in life. This hand band still works because it looks like a tied scarf. Maybe I won’t have to swear off head bands for good.

What I ate/drank:

It was hot as a motherfucker on Monday. My friend Jocelyn and I headed over to Recess Coffee House & Roastery in Westcott for some iced coffee. I love that tons of my friends are living in Westcott for the summer. That means easy access to Recess, Alto Cinco, and Dorian’s for this lady!

We met up with our friend Dan and his grandma at Fifi’s ice cream in Eastwood. Dan’s grandma is the cutest and paid. The world needs more adorable grandmas. This was taken moments before it melted into a sad puddle. Red velvet seemed like an interesting flavor to try out. I’ve had red velvet cake ice cream once before (Ben & Jerry’s! so so so delish.) but this version was much sweeter.

Of course Joci would instagram me trying to eat this delicious hot mess of an ice cream cone. I’m rarely a klutz when it comes to food but I’m pretty sure everything went horribly wrong for me that day because I was dumb enough to wear all white. This is why I can’t have nice things. Hydrogen peroxide came to the rescue and saved my poor little white dress from obnoxious red stains!

Ended the night with a Tully’s date with Meg! Half priced Tully’s chicken tenders will be the death of me. I’ve been home for a month and this is the only time I’ve dropped by. I live less than 5 minutes away from one. Who am I?! I got so excited when they arrived to the table that it took me half way through the meal to realize I didn’t remember to take a picture of them. The appetizer portion is perfect for me since I usually get full quickly at restaurants. I wasn’t full but I took some home anyways because I love Tully’s tenders that fucking much.

Annnd YOLO spelled out in french fries brought to you by Megan because YOLO.

Biker Girl

Hope everyone had a fab memorial day! Special shout out to all of the brave ladies and gentlemen that protect our country. Americaaa – fuck yeahhh!

And let’s back to the fashion and foods.

I got tired of being lazy and cooped up in my room over the weekend so I figured I’d head out to the park for a bike ride.

What I Wore:

Celina rule number 12: Every activity I do requires a cute outfit. No Excuses.

Tank top – Forever 21

Bandeau – Aerie

Sneakers – Converse

Once upon a time, back in my dark ages (aka middle school) the only shoes I wore were Converse. I remember my first pair fondly. They were a pair of black and pink high tops white black and white checkered shoe laces. I used to have a pretty dope collection filled with crazy colors and weird prints. Even though I’ve graduated from sneakers to heels and various other girly uncomfortable shoes, Converse will always hold a special place in my heart.

Leather backpack – Aldo

I used to travel between Syracuse to NYC a ton and figured I might as well invest in a backpack. Unfortunately this one isn’t the ideal travel/school bag. I can stuff a few clothes in there if I strategically fold them. It can hold a 5 subject notebook though. It’s perfect for carrying basic everyday essentials at least! And it’s just totes adorbs. Looks like I’ll still have to drop some money on a backpack big enough to lug around my laptop.

Bicycle – Trek

Can we all just take a moment to admire how freakin’ cute my bike is?! Mint green with cognac leather seat and handles…and a bell?! Before I rode around town in that red Mazda 3 you see in the background – my parents gave me this bike when I was 15 after I got my first job. Biking is probably my favorite form of exercise next to aimlessly walking around. I enjoy exercise as long as it’s fun and interesting. You won’t catch me at the gym lifting weights with the bros while double fisting protein shakes. Someone should suggest some cool forms of exercise and sports! I’ll try to be as active as possible when and if I get a job.

What I ate:

You guys probably think my veins are just filled with ice cream and sugar (that’s actually partially true.) I swear I eat other food. But seriously though, I went a little too hard on my first bike ride months. Before my legs snapped in half I sped over to Sweet Treats – which is conveniently next to the park. I totally earned this chocolate chip cookie dough cone. By the way, it’s probably a super bad thing that I live near 3 ice cream parlors. If ice cream-aholics anonymous existed, I’d probably be a member.

I’ve Loved and I’ve Lost

When I can’t think of a sassy or witty title, I usually resort to song lyrics. But really though, I have certainly loved and lost in every aspect of my life. Welp anyways – back to the fashion and food.

What I wore:

Friday nights are for dressing like hippies, getting work done at Starbucks, and watching silly shitty movies with friends.

Lace tank top – ???

Maxi skirt -Vintage

I’m terrible with remembering where I buy my basics. The skirt belonged to my mom when she was my age. Luckily for me she was the same size as I was back then too.

Sandals – Aldo

These are the most impossible sandals to wear. Or maybe I’m just really bad at tying them. At least they look good.

What I ate:

Close up shot of a birthday cake friz-b (Did I even spell that right? oh well it’s a tasty blended ice cream thing.) Yeah, this is probably something a child would order but I’m into weird childish flavors – especially when it comes to ice cream. The sprinkle to ice cream and cake ratio was insane. The bits of cake that I did get to eat tasted like someone actually dumped a whole cake in there. For someone who’s eaten plenty of birthday cake flavored snacks, I appreciated it.

For those of you that have been reading for a while now, you all know of my terrible financial/unemployed issues at the moment. Luckily I have awesome friends who pay me in ice cream when I drive around. I just need to wander around town and hold up a sign that says “will work for ice cream (and sometimes money)” and just hope for the best.

Lazy Sundae

Sunny Sundays are the best kind of Sundays.

What I wore:

Dress – Forever 21

I can’t believe I’ve only had this blog for a little over a week now. It’s made me realize one thing so far – I own WAYYY too many clothes from Forever 21. I’ve shopped there since I was 13, and I became an employee there when I was about 18. You guys do the math. Not my fault they sell adorable and affordable clothes that I’m constantly surrounded by. Every other store I love is usually out of my price range. As soon as I get a job I’ll switch it up a bit.

Shoes – Vintage

I thrifted these beauties on Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco. I wish I could remember the name of the store. I need to visit the west coast again super soon!

Both of these rings were birthday presents. The diamond ring (left) was my 18th birthday present from my parents. The infinity ring (right) is Tiffany & Co. and was given to me by my ex-boyfriend for my 20th birthday. They have lovely taste. 🙂

Sometimes I can do things other than cat eye eyeliner.  I think this counts as a purple smokey eye? I really need to learn some make-up lingo and other tricks. I also attempted a side braid. I have long hair, but it’s layered which makes it difficult to braid evenly. It just needs to grow out a bit longer.

What I ate/drank:

I grabbed a venti passion iced tea and head over to the park to sit out and read. It was a good choice until I almost melted in the sun.

After an hour and a half and another uneven tan later, I decided to head to the nearest air conditioned Starbucks for another refill. I drank and read in air conditioned peace.

Sometimes Denny’s likes to close their kitchen and only serve dessert. Luckily for me all I wanted was desert and it’s the build your own sundae was the only thing I could afford. 2 scoops of chocolate and strawberry, Oreo cookie pieces, hot fudge, and whipped cream. Dinner of champions.
